Understanding is key

The importance of having a strong accurate understanding of each person in your organization is highly under-estimated in most organizations. One reason, the difficulty in the past in doing so. Now with the use of more advanced behavioral assessments that combine the power of digital technology with more recent advances in behavioral science, the ability to provide an accurate baseline enables increased understanding far more effectively. By understanding the following behavioral drivers and the impact of stress on them, you can better make use of the person's talents and help keep them engaged and performing highly: Natural tendencies, motivations, key drivers, key aversions, engagement factors, fulfillment levels and decision making. A key related issue is understanding the mindsets and especially identifying fixed mindsets and ensuring that key people are firmly ingrained in the growth leadership framework.

In addition, by understanding what roles people play and what roles may be missing or played in excess, managers can leverage this information to make better talent decisions and manage more impactfully.
